The Commissioner of Parks & Recreation keeps a busy schedule, attending meetings with senior agency and government officials, presiding at public events, and visiting Parks' facilities. As an intern, you will be responsible for responding to constituents' inquiries, writing memorandum and documents for the Commissioner's signature, and attending and drafting minutes for meetings. Strong writing skills and an interest in government are necessary for this position.
