Annual Citywide Bocce Tournament
All Five Boroughs

Each September, New Yorkers come from all over the city and surrounding areas to participate in Parks’ annual Citywide Bocce Tournament. Teams of four compete to represent their borough in the finals and for the chance to be crowned best bocce team in the city.

This year’s 14th Annual tournament was the biggest and best yet, with preliminaries taking place in all five boroughs and team competition expanding up to more than 80 teams.

The 2008 tournament was held Saturday, September 20, with the finals on Sunday, September 21st in Staten Island. Winners received prize money and the opportunity to ride on a float in the Columbus Day Parade.
